Three pieces make this curved corner sofa. The centre unit bends through a wide angle and carries a continuous low back. On each side an end unit adds a rounded bolster-style backrest that sits a little forward of the centre back, then the seat extends past it with a rounded, open end.
The result is a sofa that wraps around a corner or a round table without a hard right angle, and the stepped backs give each end seat a defined place to lean. The whole sofa is cream leather with no loose cushions, on a dark wood plinth that is recessed under each module.
Construction
- Hardwood and plywood module frames, bolted together on site
- HR foam seats with a fibre wrap, cut to follow the curve
- Smooth leather panels, double-stitched at the curve seams
- Recessed dark-stained wood plinth with glides
In the room
Fits a corner bay, a round column or the centre of a lounge with a round table about 36 in (91 cm) across. Cream suits lobbies and day-to-night bars with good light. For a darker room the same modules can be made in cognac or black, and module angles can be adjusted on the drawing.
