One long cylinder of black leather defines this sofa. It runs across the top of the back and turns down over each arm as a thick roll, so the outline reads as a single unbroken line. The outer arm panels below the rolls are stitched in tall vertical channels.
Two loose seat cushions in a soft brown suede-look leather sit on a black base band that is diamond-quilted and finished with small studs at the quilt points. A patterned scatter cushion is shown with it.
Construction
- Kiln-dried hardwood and plywood frame with a shaped top rail for the roll
- Sinuous springs and HR foam seat cushions with a fibre wrap
- Black protected leather on the frame; brushed or nubuck-look leather on the seats, or a protected leather where spills are frequent
- Quilting stitched over foam backing, with brass-tone studs
- Low feet set under the arm panels, with glides
Where it fits
Against a slatted wood wall in a whiskey bar, in a members' lounge, or as the main sofa in a private room. Its straight lines also make it easy to place two side by side along a long wall.
