Rust-orange velvet with an abstract cut-pile texture gives this loveseat a warm, 1970s character that sits well against dark wood and smoked glass. The back is three fat vertical channels with rounded tops, and the seat repeats the idea with three rounded bolsters running front to back.
The arms are flat, squared blocks that continue straight down to the floor as legs, so there is no visible frame or foot. That gives the loveseat a solid, sculpted outline, and because it is upholstered on every face it can float in a room.
Construction
- Hardwood and plywood frame, block arms built as solid upholstered panels
- Each channel and seat bolster filled with HR foam and a fibre wrap
- Textured contract velvet shown; any velvet, bouclé-look weave or leather on request
- Glides set into the base of the block arms
Where it works
In lounge bars, hotel lobbies and listening bars where a lighter, softer seat is wanted next to leather club chairs. The matching barrel club chair and swivel tub chair are cut from the same fabric, so a group can be ordered as one set.
