This two-seater mixes three leather details in a small footprint. The back and seat are black leather stitched in narrow vertical channels. The outer shell, which wraps around the back and forms the rounded arms, is a distressed cognac leather fixed with a line of metal rivets down each arm front. Below the seat a band of diamond-quilted cognac leather runs across the front.
The sofa sits on slim black tapered metal legs, and it comes with two scatter cushions, one in black and one in brown leather.
Construction
- Hardwood and plywood frame
- HR foam channels with a fibre wrap, and a firm seat built for long sits
- Black and cognac leathers; protected finishes recommended for bars
- Metal rivets set through the shell, quilting stitched onto a foam backing
- Steel legs with glides
Where it works
The riveted shell and quilting give it an industrial, workshop feel that suits whiskey bars, brewpubs and bars in converted warehouses. Two of them facing each other across a 47 in (120 cm) table make a four-seat bay. It can also be built longer, as a three-seater, or as a single armchair in the same details.
