A U-shaped sectional turns a corner of the room into a private lounge for eight or more guests. This one is made from straight, square-edged sections: a long back run and two returns, each with a plain upright back and a deep, flat seat. The ends are cut square with low side panels, and the whole sectional sits on a recessed black plinth.
In the photo it surrounds a square black marble-look block table, with a row of cognac leather scatter cushions along the backs. Deep seats like these suit long, relaxed sits, which is why the layout is popular in hookah lounges and VIP bays.
Construction
- Hardwood and plywood sections, bolted together on site
- Deep HR foam seats with a fibre wrap; back cushions fixed for a clean line
- Cognac protected leather shown; vinyl recommended where hookah coals and heavy cleaning are routine
- Recessed plinth with glides, optional LED under-glow
Planning
Seat depth can go to 27 in (69 cm) or more for lounging. Leave at least 16 in (41 cm) between the seat front and the table edge so guests can get in and out. Send the bay dimensions and we will draw the run lengths.
