A black top on pale oak is a surprise in a leather bar, and a welcome one. The sintered stone is black with sparse white veins and a very fine dark gunmetal edge, and the two legs are broad slabs of light oak with a rectangular notch cut near the top.
The notches are a design detail that also help: they lighten the slab legs and give the table a pattern of negative space. The legs are wide at the foot, so the table is stable and hard to tip. Light oak reflects light back into a dark room.
