The Open-End sofa is built for rooms where guests arrive in uneven numbers. The backed end, with a low upholstered panel, a loose back cushion and a leather scatter cushion, seats two upright; the long open end curves away so a third and fourth guest can sit sideways, lean back on their hands or turn toward the next group.
Shown in black and in cognac leather on a stepped, rounded plinth that follows the outline of the seat. The low back keeps sightlines open across the room, which matters in a bar where staff need to see every table.
Construction
- Hardwood and plywood frame cut to the curve
- Sprung seat deck with high-resilience foam and fibre wrap
- Fixed low panel back plus loose back and scatter cushions
- Stepped plinth upholstered to match, or finished in a contrasting leather
Use it facing a pair of club chairs across a low table, or along a window wall where a full-height back would block the view. Handing, overall length and seat depth are set to your drawings.
