A back-to-back booth seats guests on both sides of one shared back. It is the most efficient way to put booth seating in the middle of a bar instead of only against the walls. This version is dressed as a centrepiece. A low brass gallery rail runs along a dark timber cap on top of the back, and a brass foot rail sits close to the floor on each seat front.
The back has deep vertical channels in oxblood leather. The seats are wide, slightly crowned cushions, and a leather-wrapped post closes the end of the unit.
Construction
- Hardwood and plywood double-sided frame on a black timber plinth
- Sinuous springs and high-resilience foam
- Channel-stitched back, plain seat cushions
- Brass gallery rail and foot rails, lacquered or left to age
- Oxblood leather shown; any leather, vinyl or COL
Use it as an island in a whiskey bar, a dividing line in a long cocktail bar or the spine of a hotel bar layout. The gallery rail makes a useful ledge for menus and gives the top of the booth a finished look from across the room.
