Instead of one continuous back, this sofa has two. A low, straight-topped back panel runs along half of the curved seat and turns in at the end to form an arm. At the opposite end a separate, sloping backrest rises from the seat edge like a bolster. The stretch between them is left open, so guests can sit facing either way.
The seat is one long, gently curved piece with a welt along the front edge, and a plinth is recessed underneath. Loose cushions are supplied in a matching or contrasting leather.

Placement
The open middle makes it a useful piece for the centre of a room, where people approach from both sides, or for a long window bay. Back lengths and the position of the end bolster can be moved on the drawing to suit how your room is entered.
