This is the club chair for rooms that want a little more glamour than plain leather. A channel-tufted back in deep-green velvet curves into generous rolled arms, outlined with cognac piping. The whole chair sits on a slim brushed-brass ring base that lifts it off the floor.
Ring bases look light, but they carry heavy loads when guests drop into a chair. Ours use a steel plate through-bolted to the frame, with the brass ring as a structural element rather than decoration.
Construction
- Hardwood frame with blocked arm joints
- Channel-tufted back, each channel filled individually
- Contract velvet shown with cognac leather piping
- Brushed-brass ring base on a steel mounting plate; swivel option
Use it beside a velvet booth for a matched group, or in pairs either side of a fireplace or a cocktail table.
