This is a lounge chair sized like a dining chair. It works where a bar wants armchair comfort but only has room for a two-top. A cognac leather band curves around the shoulders and drops into short arms. Below that band, an open woven cane panel fills the back. The result is a light, airy back from behind and a warm leather one from the front, which matters when a room is seen from the door.
The seat is a separate upholstered pad set into a slim matte-black frame. Its splayed rear legs keep the chair steady when guests lean back.
Construction
- Matte-black frame, solid wood or steel, confirmed on your shop drawing
- Upholstered top rail and seat over high-resilience foam
- Woven cane back panel, natural rattan or synthetic cane for heavier wear
- Cognac leather shown; protected leather, contract vinyl or COL
Use it at low cocktail tables in hotel bars, along the window line of a speakeasy or in a cigar lounge's quieter corners. Synthetic cane is the practical pick near a busy service route, because it shrugs off bag straps and cleaning sprays.
