Seen from behind, this chair is a smooth, upright arch. From the front the back curves forward at the sides to wrap the sitter, so the chair feels enclosed even though it has no arms. The seat is a deep, square-edged cushion that sits inside the curve.
The bar views show the chairs in pairs and fours around round black stone-look tables. One room uses orange and sand oil-wax leather, the other uses black throughout. Because there are no arms, guests can turn sideways to talk, and the chairs pack closer than club chairs of the same seat width.

Planning note
Allow about 30 in (76 cm) of width per chair and a 24 in (61 cm) table between two facing chairs. Black reads best under low light; the sand version brightens a dark room without adding more fixtures.
