A lounge chair for rooms where space per seat is tight. The outer shell is a single sweep of dark leather that forms the back and both arms, with the arms sloping down toward the front so the chair looks low and open. Inside, a separate back cushion in the same dark leather sits against the shell, and a thick cognac leather seat cushion provides the contrast.
The chair rests on a slim black metal frame with a rail just under the seat and four straight legs. That lifts the body off the floor, keeps it easy to clean under and makes the chair light enough for staff to move at closing.
Construction
- Plywood and hardwood shell on a powder-coated steel frame
- HR foam seat with a fibre wrap; back cushion attached to the shell
- Two leathers: dark brown or black shell, cognac seat
- Steel legs with floor glides
Where it works
In pairs at small round tables along a window, in a hotel bar, or around a low table in a lounge where full club chairs would block the aisle. The shell and seat leathers can be swapped or matched.
