This chair borrows the rolled arm of an old English club chair and puts it on a cleaner, mid-century base. The back is a curved shell stitched in vertical channels, with a small leather patch at the top where heads rest and hair oil would otherwise stain the velvet. The rolled arms are upholstered in a contrasting colour, and their scroll fronts are outlined with fine nailheads.
The seat is a thick piped cushion over a deep upholstered front. Underneath, a walnut-tone wood band wraps the base and the chair stands on black tapered legs.
