The Sled-Base pairs a light metal frame with cushions that look made for a club. Two brushed metal sled runners in a champagne tone form the legs and arms in one bent line. Between them hangs a firm leather shell, in a lighter grey on the outside, which carries a loose seat cushion and a tall two-part back cushion in sage-grey leather. Leather straps wrap the top of each arm, so guests rest on leather rather than cold metal.
The sled base slides rather than catches when the chair is moved, which suits hard floors in lounges that are reset each night.
